On-Guard Sister is offering try fencing sessions for women and girls (14+ age) from the North East of England Region, especially those who identify themselves as BAME (black, Asian, and minority ethnic)

These are free to attend and are coached by Beth Davidson (European Veteran Fencer of the Year, World and European Team Champion) and is to create a female friendly atmosphere to be able to try the exciting sport of fencing!

Venue: Fencing Salle, Durham University Sports Centre, Maiden Castle, Durham. DH1 3SE
Time: 10am-1pm

All fencing equipment is provided, just wear comfortable sports clothing that also cover the legs and clean training shoes. A water bottle is also recommended as it can get sweaty!

You can attend one or both sessions at Durham and you will be invited to a celebration event with other ‘Sisters’ on the 12th December at Manchester Fencing Centre in Oldham.
